The Philippians Mindset

The human mind is constantly being bombarded by messages and images everyday. In fact, we are constantly being urged to think and act and make decisions according to the statements made by the media, the government, our schools, the books we read- so much information is being pushed our way moment by moment. Should we simply "go with the flow" and allow our minds to be shaped by the world around us? What does God's word say about how we are to think and act and make decisions? In The Philippians Mindset, we are engaged with just what kind of thinking patterns Paul the apostle, inspired by the Holy Spirit, taught the Philippian church to saturate themselves in. Rather than meditating on what brings little to no profit, the apostle takes us on a journey of thinking about things that are praiseworthy, noble, and of good report. It is a journey we would do well to embark on as believers living in the midst of this present evil age.
