Contributor Bio:  Willis, Robert Born in Bagdad, Florida, in 1927, Robert Willis grew up to serve in the US Marine Corps during World War II before attending both Florida Southern College and University of Texas and ending up with a PhD from Florida State University. After working in education for many years, he switched to a career in real estate. Married and with three grown children, Willis has pursued writing seriously since the 1960s. A fan of serious fiction, sometimes with comic overtones, he admires writers such as Twain, Dickens, Hemingway, Faulkner, Fitzgerald, and Dostoevsky.
