Tanya's story begins as she waits for her best friend, Sam, to contact her after returning from a few days in Paris. The delay worries her but when her best friend tells her that her parents have separated it leaves Tanya with a dilemma. Although the cause of their separation is rather complex; the fact that Tanya has slept with her best friend's father, Simon, could ruin their friendship. A further complication is that Sam is being interviewed for a prestigious job which Tanya feels could help her own career prospects. Although Tanya has a reputation as a nymphomaniac; the emergence of Luke makes a long term relationship a distinct possibility. His acceptance of her terms leaves her feeling comfortable. When, how or if she should tell Sam the truth leads her on a quest to help Simon. When Simon collapses at work the whole situation is brought to the surface as others also reveal secrets of their own. Should Tanya tell her best friend - that is the decision she has to make?
