The Last Creator

Amber Brenin is as new to the world as a twelve-year-old can be. Severely autistic and living in a care center, she barely even gets to connect with other people, including her father Robert, a geologist. When an expedition at sea threatens to separate them for months, Robert smuggles his daughter along on the voyage. They're soon separated anyway when a strange piece of crystal from Robert's lab causes their whole team to stumble through a portal to another dimension. Now Amber is stranded on Rôkshena, a fantastic but war-torn world where no one understands her condition. Her mental abilities rapidly begin to increase, however, and she finds herself quickly adapting to her new surroundings-until a horrific disaster strikes that could doom all life on the planet. Questions mount and more dangers arise as Amber and her new friends sail to Optic, the land of their enemies, to uncover the cause of the devastation.
