Two outstanding war photographers, George Silk and George Strock, covered the intense fighting between Allied and Japanese imperial forces in New Guinea.  Their photos were thought too graphic for the public to see and were censored.  This book is about the making and censorship of these now famous photos and their eventual, impactful publication.
