Effective Leadership in Higher Education: the Relationship Between Values, Behaviors, and Institutional Effectiveness

How managers' behaviors correspond to top level leaders' values within the organization is a valuable investigation for all effective institutions. This text investigates the relationships between values, behaviors, and their influence on various levels of organizational effectiveness in Higher Education. The primary tool for investigating leadership values and managerial behaviors in this text is the Competing Values Framework (CVF), designed by Robert E. Quinn (University of Michigan).
