There exists enough shadow and vagueness within the topic to suggest a far more profound and ancient mystery-when we incorporate a polymath-style approach-by examining the history of the Round Towers without ecclesiastical eyes. Peeling back the layers of accepted narratives surrounding the towers reveals a very different story below the numerous facades and fables which have been placed upon the Round Tower story.
