Disinherited

Confident in the promise made to him by his grandfather, eighteen-year-old Henry knows the path he will take. Suddenly his father's actions put that promise out of his reach. Now his privileges are few: Henry fears for the future. His responsibilities are onerous. How will he care for his mother and siblings in mid-nineteenth century Norfolk when life was harsh? His cousin has no talent for the millwrights' craft and Henry find it irksome that he will inherit what should have been his. He is frustrated and finds solace in the ale-house. Will it be his undoing?
