Set in the Post-Civil War Reconstruction era Alabama, US Marshal Martin Markston take a small team down to Pinetar to guard a delivery to a bank that is to be used to help the Freedmen. He is also supposed to drive out the KKK that is ter-rorizing the people and stealing their land. One man is going down there to solve a twenty year old murder, one is going to reclaim his honor, another to pay back a debt.
