Friends sometimes have such good ideas... Helping a pretty co-ed get settled on campus can't be that difficult. Jack Randolph doesn't need any more heartaches, and Dana Metcalf already has a boyfriend. It's a simple matter - meet her bus, drive her to her dorm, help her get settled, and no commitment. But this is not the bright, spirited girl he met at his friend's wedding. They forgot to mention her abusive family, the attempted rape, and the ongoing search by her cruel parents. Matters get complicated when ghosts from Dana's abusive past resurface and test Jack's grit.
