Amelia and Gabriel thought they had found their happily ever after. However reality delivered them a very different ending to their first chapter 20 years ago. In a chance encounter fate decided to rectify events and conspire to bring their happily ever after full circle in a way least expected. Set in modern day LA, Amelia is now the founder of The Cartwright Sinclair foundation established to support women in the sex trade, while her day job sees her running the Vice Squad. Gabriel returns to LA for the first time in 20 years and a case of mistaken identity leads him to being arrested by a very different Amelia than the one he rescued 20 years before.
