Dan is a single dad who works full-time to support the lifestyle of him and his seven-year-old daughter, Katie. He doesn't like change, and relationships have taken a back-burner so he can focus on raising his daughter. Jen is a motivated second-grade teacher who loves her job, and loves her rules. Rules keep her safe, especially in the dating department. She won't break them for anyone. When Dan meets Jen, Katie's teacher, he knows she's off-limits. But neither of them can deny the attraction they have, challenging both of their policies and leaving them with one question - are their rules meant to be broken?
