She is the founder of Aiken Horsemanship Academy in Aiken, SC. After acquiring Ozzie, she sought out the help of many famous horsemen including Tom Dorrance, Ray Hunt, Buck Brannaman, Pat Parelli, Dave Seay, and Del Wideman. Over the last 25 years, Julie has developed her own style of horse training and people training.
