Water is a prime natural resource a basic human need and a precious national asset; water is one of the most stable compound and universal solvent. It is required for most human activities like drinking domestic, agriculture and industry. The rapid growth of population expansion of irrigation and increasing trend of industrialization has contributed towards rising demand for ground water. Apart from the above said reason the need for evaluation of ground water quality has gained significant importance due to lack of surface water resources and also experience frequent serious water shortage owing to the vagaries of the monsoon.
