Histological and diagnostic study of Amoebiasis in Basrah governorate

Amoebaiasis is a gastrointestinal infection caused by a number of Entamoeba spp. and Entamoeba histolytica is the main species to cause the pathological symptoms of this disease. it is widely spread causing mortality across the world through diarrhea . The study was determined the prevalence of Entamoeba histolytica, Entamoeba dispar, and Entamoeba moshkovskii by three methods of diagnosis (microscopic examination, cultivation and PCR)
