Inspired by the literary classic The Picture of Dorian Grey, An Economy of the Soul is a story about loss and redemption. Find Out how one man accumulates insurmountable debt in spite of his best efforts to the contrary and how it comes to be that he finds remission of that debt. Ben Sirach owns and operates the Mystic Asset Recovery and Collection Agency. He is the man that debtors fear, or at the very least he is the man that they tend to avoid as long as possible; he is the one that comes knocking at their door demanding just resolution. His is a 'dirty' job, but it is after all a right and necessary thing - it also happens to be very profitable, particularly for an enterprising entrepreneur like Ben. While society provides ample fodder for Ben's business, the Uniform Commercial Code and contract law provide Ben with the authority and the power to ensure that his clients get what they are due.
