Sign of Contradiction

It is first century Jerusalem and the political climate is a hotbed of corruption and civil unrest. Roman forces occupy Judea and exercise oppressive control over the people. In the midst of this maelstrom, a young preacher, named Jesus, is arrested by the religious authorities after an incident in the Temple.
