The Simple Things and Some Not

This is a book of poetry clutched from the breast of the author. It is a collection of both the simplicity in life and the calamity. The author opens himself up for the reader's scrutiny, connection, or scorn. This is a book of observation, of the vibrant and mundane, of the complexity of life and its wonder. Many will clearly see their own reflection mixed among the verse, and others will hide, wanting no part of it. There is love and trauma, joy and worried questioning sprinkled on the pages. The spice of the concoction is enticing and easily gobbled up or painfully swallowed with a gulp.
