We see a miracle happening in a place and we want it to happen in our life too. We get lost looking for the solution physically and join hands with the unknown. We are blinded from the Truth and we don't realize it. "The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the Gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God." (2Cor4:4) We can only open our eyes by surrendering ourselves to God. We can feel His presence only through our work and faith. You deny physical obedience and so also you lose spiritual blessings. Physical obedience is what we have to offer along with our spiritual chastity to worship God.
