What makes a warrior a warrior? Is it patriotism? The need to protect and defend? To conquer and defeat? Or is it something not so easily defined? Shrapnel provides a rare, intimate look inside the life and mind of a warrior who was driven to the top of his profession - the elite of the elite - by the need to shout down the voices of those who kept telling him he was weak and would never amount to much. For Kabrich, experiences like these only fueled his fire. His dad wanted him to be tough, so he spent his life proving that he could be. Pain, some self inflicted, went with the territory. There was purpose in it all however, and God made use of it. Sometimes people don't understand why they go through trials. All the scars and shrapnel that remain will forever tell a story though.
