Nacho Vigalondo writes and directs this sci-fi thriller starring Anne Hathaway, Dan Stevens and Jason Sudeikis. After losing both her boyfriend Tim (Stevens) and her job because of her wild and childish behaviour and excessive drinking, Gloria (Hathaway) leaves New York to move back to her hometown where she gets a job in her friend Oscar (Sudeikis)'s bar. As she tries to settle back into a normal life, a gigantic monster attacks Seoul and, despite being on the other side of the world, Gloria discovers she has a strange, psychic connection with the rampaging behemoth.

Still none the wiser about the reason for her powers, Gloria lets Oscar and his drinking buddies in on her special secret but finds she's not the only one capable of controlling a giant monster in Seoul...
