Tom Hooper writes and directs this film adaptation of the stage musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber and 'Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats' by T. S. Eliot.

A gang of cats that call themselves the Jellicles prepare for the most important night of their lives, when one of them will be picked as the Jellicle choice and will elevate to the Heaviside Layer where they will be reincarnated into a life they could only dream of. The cast includes Judi Dench, Idris Elba, Jason Derulo, Taylor Swift and Jennifer Hudson.
