Schubert: Symphonies Nos. 1 & 5, Fierrabras Overture

Heinz Holliger, world famous Swiss oboist, composer and conductor, will record the complete symphonies by Franz Schubert until autumn 2020. The recording cycle will also include a lot of other instrumental works such as overtures, dances or vocal works transcribed for orchestra. In total there will be five volumes available until autumn 2021. Heinz Holliger will celebrate his 80th birthday on May 21st 2019.
