Joy was born in and around Memphis, Tenn. Which is home to Elvis, Issac Hayes, Justin Timberlake, Al Green and many more musical legends. She began singing at the age of 7 and has had no formal training. She is a gifted singer who has also become a very talented songwriter as well.
