Digitally remastered and expanded edition of the Scottish diva's 1988 album now including four bonus tracks. The Lover in Me was Sheena's eigtth studio album and was produced by Babyface and LA Reid. With her squeaky clean image wiped away by her 1984 hit, 'Sugar Walls', Sheena was able to continue her transformation into a sultry R&B sex kitten on the Lover in Me, gaining a whole new audience. The album has a slightly harder urban edge than anything she had recorded up to this point, but still retains melody and charm.
