Very few record producers' names are as well-known as the acts they produce, although *George Martin* and *Phil Spector* spring to mind as rare exceptions. But early in his career, **Sly Stone** put his producer's hat on to produce these mid-60s tracks for the group, **the Mojo Men**. The material found on this release documents **Sly Stone's** days as a record producer and songwriter for the group - offering a fascinating insight into where that "true genius" really began.
