Phil Flowers
Phil Flowers' Alpha and Omega is a deeply unusual 1973 psychedelic funk concept album inspired by Genesis and framed around contemporary social issues. Conceived as a musical play, it moves from creation and Adam and Eve to prostitution, abortion, redemption, and apocalypse, blending gospel vocals with heavy funk, psychedelic effects, wah-wah guitar, and experimental arrangements. 12' black vinyl.
