The fifth studio album by Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble was never planned and was released after Vaughan's fatal helicopter crash in 1990 at the hands of his brother. It contained unreleased material from 1984 to 1989 and has now been re-edited for the first time ever. Also included is Vaughan's only surviving acoustic guitar performance on "Life by the Drop."

Vaughan himself had planned to self-release this album of mostly minimalist recorded blues numbers and great live feel the following year. The recordings had become the troupe's songbook and hardly a live set was played without them.

The MFLS hybrid SACD has been remastered by Shawn R. Britton and comes in a Japanese mini-LP cover with consecutive serial numbers as a limited edition. A booklet with anecdotes about the individual songs by Dan Forte is included.

We recommend the use of "L'Art du Son" CD/DVD conditioner for even more sonic improvement.
